Once it starts it will keep producing. Start early indoors before the first frost to ensure a longer harvest. The Butterfly Pea is a tropical vine and does not like to be cold, anything under 50° will slow production and they start taking cold damage at about 40 degrees. Each packet contains a minimum of 15 seeds. For germination it is required to score the seeds and soak for 24 hours or so until they swell. Grown organically by a small time disabled gardener.
